Education institutes in 7 Punjab cities to close for 2 weeks from March 15
In the wake of spreading coronavirus cases, government has announced to close educational insinuations in seven cities of Punjab. These will be closed for two weeks from March 15. It was announced by education minister Shafqat Mehmood on Wednesday.
Education minister was addressing a press conference alongside Dr. Faisal Sultan, special assistant to prime minster on health.
Today, the National Command and Control Centre(NCOC) reviewed the coronavirus situation at educational institutions in light of growing coronavirus cases.
However, the minister states that all standard operating procedures (SOPs) previously enforced will continue to be followed.
